Trail Description 3 day ride, first two days are one to two hours and the long ride will be either or Friday or Saturday depending on weather. That ride will be 3 to 4 hours. Horses need to be in shape and be shod. Trails are scenic and have lots of timber.
Best Time to Visit Arrive June 2nd ride 3rd through 6th leave morning of 7th.
Times to Avoid Closed except Sept 29th through Oct 3rd.
Campground Pickets for horses, open air rental pens available while last. Camp in trailers, generators permitted. Nice open area for parking trailers. Only weed free hay allowed. Plenty of water for horses

Directions Take I-40 to 49 north, go to Chester Exit, turn right on 282 and go through Chester. Cross the RR tracks and stay straight, do not turn. Go to the end of the pavement which will be approximately 6 miles. Take a slight left at cross roads, which is Kimes Tower Road. Go 1.8 miles campsite is on left.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
